With offices in Phoenix, AZ, Tulsa, OK, St. Paul, MN and Hawthorne, NY, Cavalry Portfolio is linked to their sister company Cavalry Investments, LLC who purchase portfolios of old debt and turns to Cavalry Portfolios to collect on that debt. The range of their debt collections runs the gamut from utilities and medical bills to credit cards and auto loan deficiencies. They have a compromised history with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, having several lawsuits filed against them.

Interesting to note that they are apparently not “collectors” but “resolution specialists” probably in thinking that it actually sounds more pleasant but like the “petroleum transfer engineer” who “pumps your gas” at the station, the “resolution specialist” does everything in their power to “collect” on bad debts. Even if it means violating the FDCPA.
