Craig Thor Kimmel is one of the most experienced and respected consumer attorneys in the United States. Along with his partner, Robert M. Silverman, he has been called a pioneer in consumer protection and cost-free legal representation. Beginning in 1989, he has devoted his practice solely to consumer claims, primarily Fair Debt Collection Practice Act (FDCPA) and Automobile Warranty “Lemon Law” claims. In 1997, he served as legal consultant to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, and continues to consult when asked with the Consumer Affairs Committee. He is credited with being responsible for the only two amendments to the Pennsylvania Lemon Law and authoring the first Computer Lemon Law bill in the United States, which also served as a model for Illinois, Connecticut and California. Mr. Kimmel has made repeat appearances on national television discussing his cases and consumer law issues and has given interviews to newspapers, magazines and radio programs. Within the profession, Mr. Kimmel has been a keynote speaker for legal education seminars and has shared his experiences with community groups nationwide.
Mr. Kimmel does not represent businesses or business interests. He instead has chosen to represent individuals and has done so many thousands of times. He has also served as class counsel in cases that have pushed for product improvements and changes in how business responds to customers. He has successfully argued for clients at the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit on matters having a national impact, that continue to be cited as authority.
In 1986, Mr. Kimmel earned his Bachelor of Arts Degrees from Ursinus College and in 1989 a Juris Doctor Degree from Widener University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York and Massachusetts State Courts, as well as several Federal Courts across the United States. He is active in the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the New York Bar Association. Mr. Kimmel is a member in good standing of the American Bar Association.
Robert M. Silverman is highly regarded throughout the legal community for his continuing efforts in helping consumers with their breach of warranty claims. Mr. Silverman has been featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer and in other newspaper stories across New Jersey and Pennsylvania as an expert in warranty litigation.
Mr. Silverman has worked hard for consumer rights, trying his cases in the Federal and State Courts in which he practices. He has also successfully briefed and argued cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Mr. Silverman earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Pennsylvania State University and holds a Juris Doctor Degree form Temple University School of Law. He is an attorney in good standing and has been admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. Mr. Silverman is an active member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the New York Bar Association. He is a member in good standing with the American Bar Association.
Amy Bennecoff is a graduate of Drexel University, holding dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and International Area Studies. Following graduation from college, she earned her law degree from Widener University School of Law. Since law school she has practiced in various areas of civil litigation including real estate, commercial, personal injury, and bankruptcy. Her current practice area involves representing consumers in Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Pennsylvania Fair Credit Extension Uniformity Act, Truth in Lending, Lemon Law, breach of warranty, and consumer fraud cases, as well as, representing consumers in debt defense cases, and foreclosures. She has been interviewed on various talk shows and news programs on consumer issues. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Tennessee, Wyoming, and California. In addition she is admitted to practice before the District Courts of New Jersey, Eastern and Western Districts of Pennsylvania, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Tennessee, District of Colorado, Eastern, Southern, Northern and Western Districts of Texas, Southern, Central, Northern and Eastern Districts of California, Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, Northern District of Ohio, Eastern District of Michigan, Maryland, Northern District of Florida as well as, the before the United States Supreme Court and Third Circuit Court of Appeals. She has also been admitted to practice Pro Hac Vice before the United States District Courts of Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Western District of New York, Middle District of Alabama, Eastern District of Kentucky, Western District of Virginia, Western District of Kentucky, Northern District of New York and the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
Tara L. Patterson – Tara concentrates her practice on representing individuals harassed by creditors and debt collectors with an emphasis on Pennsylvania’s Fair Credit Extension Uniformity Act and the Federal Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. Also, Tara concentrates her practice on labor and employment matters representing individuals in sex, age and disability discrimination cases.
Prior to joining Kimmel & Silverman, P.C., Tara was an attorney for the Governor’s Office of General Counsel assigned to the Pennsylvania State Police where she worked from 2004 to 2009. As Assistant Counsel for the Pennsylvania State Police, Tara prosecuted violations of the Liquor Code and related regulations, represented the Pennsylvania State Police in arbitration for various disciplinary and contractual matters, prosecuted municipal police officers at decertification hearings, litigated Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission cases, litigated Heart and Lung Act benefit cases, and represented the Pennsylvania State Police in various matters in the Courts of Common Pleas, Commonwealth Court, and the Superior Court. Also, Tara served as advisory counsel to the Megan’s Law Section and the DNA Laboratory and served on the committee that developed the annual in-service training for Pennsylvania’s Municipal Police Officers.
From 2001 to 2004, Tara was an attorney for the Governor’s Office of General Counsel assigned to the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole. As Assistant Counsel for the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole, Tara litigated cases in original jurisdiction and appellate matters before the Commonwealth Court, Superior Court, and the Supreme Court; advised Board Members, hearing examiners, and parole agents; and served as counsel to the Sexual Offenders Assessment Board. Tara represented the Board in various administrative proceedings, counseled the Board’s EEO Officer on investigations, and trained parole agents on various topics.

Angela K. Troccoli – Ms. Troccoli concentrates her practice representing consumers for claims involving Lemon Law, Breach of Warranty, Consumer Fraud as well as representing individuals who are harassed by creditors and debt collectors with an emphasis on the Federal Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.
Prior to joining Kimmel & Silverman, P.C., she practiced in different areas of civil litigation including real estate, domestic relations, trusts and estates, probate, breach of contract and personal injury.
From 1996 to 1999, Angela was a member of the New England Trial Advocacy Team, interned at the New Center for Legal Advocacy, representing indigent clients as well as interned at the Office of the Attorney General in Providence, Rhode Island.

W. Christopher Componovo is a 1990 graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he earned his varsity monogram in Track and Field. Thereafter he graduated from the Widener University School of Law in 1993, cum laude. He is currently admitted to practice law in the State of Delaware, the Delaware District Court, the Third and Fourth Circuit Courts of Appeals in the state of Maryland, and the United States Supreme Court. Chris is a past President of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association and a past chair of the Workers’ Compensation section of the Delaware State Bar Association. He brings many years of trial experience to the firm having tried dozens of cases ranging from motor vehicle accidents to civil assault. Chris has also argued successfully before the Delaware Supreme Court.
Daivy Pierre Dambreville obtained his law degree from The Pennsylvania State University-Dickinson School of Law. While there, he served as a Senior Editor on the Arbitration and Mediation Law Journal, and the National Vice-Chair of the National Black Law Students Association—the largest student-run 503(c) non-profit corporation in the United States. Dave earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hunter College of the City University of New York.
Prior to joining Kimmel & Silverman, Dave served as a law clerk to the Honorable Roxanne E. Covington in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. He concentrates his practice on representing consumers harassed by creditors and debt collectors in violation of federal and state law.

Tristan A. Herschaft – A Pennsylvania native, Tristan traveled throughout the United States to receive his education, but remained ambitious to return to his home state to serve the legal needs of its residents. Tristan earned his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and his Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. Tristan concentrates his practice on the representation of debtors who are being treated unfairly by creditors. He is licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania and Georgia.
Prior to joining Kimmel and Silverman, Tristan served as the Law Clerk for President Judge Joseph C. Madenspacher at the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas. While in law school, Tristan participated in an externship program in the Superior Court of Guam, serving in the Clerks’ office under Presiding Judge Alberto C. Lamorena III.

Christina Gill Roseman is Of Counsel for Pennsylvania and West Virginia and received her B.A. from Pennsylvania State University in 1989. She obtained her J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne Law School in 1993, where she was a member of the Duquesne Law Review.
Upon graduation from law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stephanie Domitrovich in Erie, Pennsylvania. She then worked in Detroit, Michigan and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, litigating claims involving hospitals and physicians.
Ms. Roseman currently practices exclusively in the areas of consumer rights and breach of warranty. She is currently co-chair of the Membership Committee of the Women’s Bar Association of Western Pennsylvania. Ms. Roseman is licensed to practice law in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, West Virginia and Michigan.
